BJ Sellman, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Stress can build up and take a tremendous toll on our minds and bodies. I have over 30 years of experience working with adolescents and adults with trauma, anxiety, addiction, and other behavioral health conditions. I have specialized training in trauma therapy and assist individuals in releasing the pain of their past. I also work with couples who need assistance in improving communication, resolving conflicts in order to achieve a more fulling relationship with their partner.  I provide a safe environment free of judgement and utilize evidence-based, proven strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, etc. I focus on increasing an individual's personal strength and power to transform unhealthy behaviors into adaptive coping strategies. No two individuals are the same, so no two therapies are the same.  Recovery is a journey that we will take together.
