Catrina Vitagliano, PsyD

Licensed Psychologist

I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania. I specialize in helping adults and adolescents who are struggling with anxiety, depression, mood instability, trauma, and challenging life transitions.  I am also an active member of the American Psychological Association and the Pennsylvania Psychological Association.  My treatment approach is grounded in evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), with a special interest in acceptance and mindfulness-based approaches and DBT-informed therapy to empower clients to meet their goals.  During my sessions, I work with clients to develop greater awareness into their thoughts, emotions, sensations, and actions, and change unhealthy patterns that cause suffering.  I firmly believe that each individual presents with their own unique needs and has their own unique path towards positive growth and meaningful change.  As such, I approach therapy in a flexible and collaborative manner, tailoring treatment to best meet individuals’ needs to maximize effectiveness.  I place great value in fostering a safe, compassionate, and interactive environment, which allows us to do the difficult work of therapy that creates lasting change. Together in therapy, we will develop a deeper understanding of your experiences and implement new skills to not only reduce uncomfortable symptoms, but to ultimately reconnect with the life you want to live.
