Christine Chiodo, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Through a holistic approach, I work with couples, adults, and teens age 16 years and older to enhance their well-being, approach change head on, and develop a positive sense of self. I believe in working alongside my clients to establish goals, challenge negative thoughts, and implement coping skills applicable to daily life. I treat individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, the readiness to process trauma, relationships issues, life transitions (such as divorce, becoming parents, going to college, employment changes, navigating the world of dating, etc.), mood changes, LGBTQ+ issues, and building social skills. Through self-exploration in a safe and nonjudgmental environment clients are empowered to embrace change, process past experiences, set boundaries, and create a life they desire. I implement cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices to challenge cognitive processes, promote positive behavioral change, build emotional resiliency, and become more connected to the present moment.
